Friday Ari Vatanen Randoms

09:53 5th July 2013 by Ed Haythornthwaite

Last week saw Sebastien Loeb break the record for the legendary Pikes Peak hill climb. The race is run on a 12.42 mile course with 156 turns that begins at 9,390 feet and finishes at the 14,110 foot summit. It goes without saying that his run was impressive, but there was a time when the course wasn’t covered in tarmac. During that time what’s arguably one of the greatest driving videos ever made was shot, featuring arguably the greatest rally driver ever; Ari Vatanen…

If you want to see Loeb’s effort then click here, but it’s not a patch on this one.

Ari Vatanen is one of the few to break this rule.
