National 4x Championship and round 5 of the NPS 4x is taking place at South West Extreme, North Devon this weekend, 14& 15th August.

Naked Racing has all the info on the race and getting there, check here.

The track was built by 4x World Cup rider Will Evans who sent us some piccies and info below.

“The track is approximately 360 long with 5 corners 2 of which burmed, 1 a flat bank, and 2 flat. The track has steps, drops, pump bumps table tops, a gnarly rock garden and a do or die pro-line.

The number one priority for me when designing/ building the track was to ensure that it races well with all four riders. I believe that 4x racing is at it’s best when the riders make the action. And hopefully the new track at South West Extreme will provide great racing for both the riders and spectators.”

Can’t wait for this weekend. The track was looking great a couple of weeks back. It’s gonna be fast and tough.

    So who’s gonna win?

Old School – Scott Beaumont, Will Longden
Mid School – Dunc Ferris, Will Evans
New School – PCJ, Tom Dowie, Scott Roberts

    My money is on Longden

  4. goober

Don’t think boom boom will do it and Longden is prone to mistakes! I think Scott Roberts is in with a real chance

  5. mr b

JUdging by the helmet cam, whoever gets the snap will win.

  6. torico

    so thats scott then

  7. Kernow

‘whoever gets the snap will win’ I Don’t think so! The helmet cam footage was produced to show the track off, not racing. Hence the helmet cam follows the rider all the way down the track.
Have to see this weekend. But I think it will shake up UK 4x!
