Ever since Dan Stanton brought us over one of his Slackline hardtails to try out we’ve been big fans of his work. Great geometry, clean lines, decent tubing and finish, basically everything that we look for in a hardtail.

He’s now looking to expand his range with both a new dirt jump frame and a 4X frame, both of which are very much of the ‘Stanton’ style. Dan just received the final samples and he thought he’d take a few shots to wet your tastebuds…

And here’s what Dan had to say about them…

We’ve just received our new DJ and 4X samples and we’re super chuffed with the way they’ve turned out. The frames will be available in both Raw and Black.
The raw (as shown in the photos) is not just a lacquer but a pigmentles paint and offers the same longevity of a normal paint finish.
The head tube logo has had the cog milled back .5mm then the crown is cut through the tube to make for an awesome finished head badge logo.
There’s also a crown CNC’d out of the brace on the top tube, bullet ended stays and obviously all the heat flares have been left on to reveal some beautiful weld colorations.
Geo. The DJ frame has 385mm stays, a 300mm seat post (fits 27.2), 22” top tube, and a 69 deg head angle. It has removable brake bosses and runs a Mid 73mm bottom bracket, it also has a fully integrated head tube and an integral seat colar.
The 4X frame has 400mm stays, 330mm seat post (fits 27.2), 22.5” top tube, and a 68 deg head angle. It uses a 73mm European bottom bracket, has ISCG 05 mounts, and it also has a fuly integrated head tube and an integral seat colar.
Both frames weigh roughly 4.6lbs and will be on sale for £375.00

I’m so excited about these! Keep your eyes pealed, we’re going to make a wicked video with our pro riders to coincide with the arrival of the first batch.

The frames will be available in roughly 6 weeks. If you want to preorder one then contact me at contact@stantonbikes.com
