The choice of Dirt team rider Ralph ‘the wrecking ball’ Jones and after a season of NPS and World Cup racing it is still going strong – those that know Ralph will understand that’s a pretty big deal! He has been running the frame with a Fox rear shock all year and instantly took to the lighter and shorter travel ride of the 951 over its bigger brother the M6. The Chain Reactions Cycles team have also been using the bikes at selected rounds where the terrain favours a slightly more nimble bike. With good geometry and a progressive suspension linkage the 951 certainly suits the UK based rider more than the M6, and with the G3 dropouts the bike is pretty versatile with adjustable wheelbase, head angle and BB height.
